First Baptist Church, Mount Gilead, OH

DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE

that you are going to be with God in heaven?

DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE that you are going to be with God in heaven?

If God were to ask you, "Why should I let you into My heaven..." what would you say?

You don't know? Then I would like to personally invite you to read on to discover THE FREE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE!

The Bible says that "...the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord," (Romans 6:23) And because heaven is a free gift, it cannot be earned by good works or deeds.

"By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God, NOT BY WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

Unfortunately, MAN IS A SINNER.

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Sin is breaking God's law and includes such things as lying, lust, cheating, immoral behavior, and more.

Because of sin, man cannot save himself. If you wanted to save yourself by good deeds, do you know how good you would have to be?

"Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

The Bible says that because of our sin we deserve death; however, God offers us the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION through JESUS CHRIST!

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and then rose from the grave to purchase a place for us in heaven.

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all." (Isaiah 53:6)

WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE?
Accept that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself, and that you need Jesus Christ and His forgiveness for your sins.
Repent from your sins by acknowledging and turning from them.
Depend on God and God alone to provide your salvation.

Will you pray to God now and ask Him to come into your life and heart?

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and deserve death. I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life; take control of my life, forgive my sins, and save me. I repent of my sins and now place my trust in You for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life."

If you have just done that the Bible says that you have forgiveness from your sins and eternal life!

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved..." (Acts 16:31)

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door; I will come in to him..." (Revelation 3:20)

"...with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation...for whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Now, what's next?

Read The Bible:
"As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby." (1Peter 2:2)

Pray: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..." (Philippians 4:6)
